On July 4. 2024, the Mine Covered Court in barangay Consuelo, Bunawan, Agusan del Sur buzzed with excitement as it hosted the inaugural Integrated Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) Day and Safety Fair. ROSARIO, AGUSAN DEL SUR—Mindanao Mineral Processing and Refining Corporation (MMPRC) has retained its ISO 14001:2015 Certification from Certification International Philippines, Inc. (CIP) after passing the Environmental Management System (EMS) Second External Surveillance Audit. The auditors, Hon. Ofelia B. Domingo and Engr. Arnel D. Guevara conducted the three-day audit, which concluded on April 4, 2024. The audit thoroughly evaluated the company's environmental management system, emphasizing MMPRC's ongoing commitment to excellence and continuous improvement in environmental responsibility. MMPRC's key personnel actively participated in the audit process, demonstrating their commitment to leadership. The company's president, Atty. Raul C. ROSARIO, AGUSAN DEL SUR — To reinforce security protocols and ensure a unified approach to access control and gate operations, the Security and Enforcement Group (SEG) of PHILSAGA Mining Corporation recently concluded a series of Refresher Training Courses. The program, targeting both Agency Security Guards and Company Guards, was meticulously organized in three batches, commencing on August 10, 17, and 24, 2024.

BUNAWAN, AGUSAN DEL SUR – Thirteen (13) elementary schools in Bunawan and Rosario received learning equipment on May 8, 2024, at East Bunawan Central Elementary School (EBCES). Through its Social Development and Management Program (SDMP), the Philsaga Mining Corporation successfully turned over computer sets with accessories worth Php 454,935.00, aiming to aid schools affected by recent floods. The head teachers from the two municipalities, along with Ms. Estefa P. Balbuten, the Public School District Supervisor of Rosario, gratefully accepted the new computer set. This initiative aims to provide modern learning tools to learners and mentors, uplifting education and fostering resilience in the face of adversity.
