(CIP) after passing the Environmental Management System (EMS) Second External Surveillance Audit. The auditors, Hon. Ofelia B. Domingo and Engr. Arnel D. Guevara conducted the three-day audit, which concluded on April 4, 2024. The audit thoroughly evaluated the company's environmental management system, emphasizing MMPRC's ongoing commitment to excellence and continuous improvement in environmental responsibility. MMPRC's key personnel actively participated in the audit process, demonstrating their commitment to leadership. The company's president, Atty. Raul C. Villanueva was represented by MMPRC Vice President Engr. Ferdinand A. Cortes, MMPRC Senior AVP/Resident Manager Engr. Alvin B. Castaños, MMPRC AVP/General Manager - Engr. Jonnel A. De Torres and the rest of the EMS Working Committee. Their dedication ensured the smooth progress of the audit and provided all necessary information to the auditors.

BUNAWAN, AGUSAN DEL SUR- The Community Relations Office, through Philsaga Mining Corporation’s Social Development and Management Program (SDMP), turned over medical supplies and equipment at Barangay Covered Court, Poblacion, Bunawan, ADS. ROSARIO, AGUSAN DEL SUR - PMC’s Human Resources Department held a tree planting activity on its third-day celebration of Women’s Month in the Katipayan area on March 20, 2024, with the assistance of Mine Environmental Protection and Enhancement Office (MEPEO) personnel. Women from different departments joined to plant trees, contributing to environmental sustainability. The activity aims to honor the contribution of women to society through this green and clean environment.

BUNAWAN, AGUSAN DEL SUR – Tigers unleashed competence towards fire safety at the recently concluded Philsaga Mining Corporation’s Fire Prevention Month Celebration at PMC Covered Court, Consuelo, Bunawan last March 19, 2024. Consuelo Mine Security and Enforcement Department (CMSED) bagged the overall championship, the Explosives Department and Mine Environmental Protection and Enhancement Office (MEPEO) topped the Fire Extinguisher competition. In contrast, the Geology Department bagged Champion for the Fire Hydrant Target Competition, and the Mechanical Department won the Bucket Relay competition. The Compliance and Emergency Management Section aims to practice safety awareness for every employee, especially for fire response and control, now that the country celebrates Fire Prevention Month.
