ROSARIO, AGUSAN DEL SUR – The signing of  Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) took place on March 15, 2024, held at  Community Information Center in Sitio Padugusan, Sta. Cruz, Rosario Agusan del Sur; the Mindanao Mineral Processing and Refining Corporation (MMPRC) and the ten (10) new scholarship grantees from Barangay Wasian under the Development of Host and Neighboring Communities (DHNC), specifically in the College Assistance Program for non-mining-related courses, and the four (4) new scholarship grantees under the Development of Mining Technology and Geosciences (DMTG) program for mining-related courses. The BLGU Wasian, represented by its Punong Barangay, Hon. Jenny S. Calongo and the  overjoyed and proud parents and  guardians was also present.

There are several extraordinary organizations that serve as lights of hope, blazing the road to a better future in a world where many people still lack access to high-quality education. The company Mindanao Mineral Processing and Refining Corporation (MMPRC), which is dedicated to transforming the lives of young academics through its SDMP Scholarship Program, is one of these bright stars.
