Small businesses are the backbone of local economies, and they often require targeted support to thrive.  In the Barangays of Consuelo and San Teodoro in Bunawan, Agusan del Sur, two groups of motor operators and drivers are benefitting from a project that aims to improve their livelihoods.

The Motor Spare Parts Trading project, implemented in two phases on March 30, 2021, and September 02, 2021, with a total cost of Php 150,000.00, targets 30 members of the Consuelo Motor Operators & Drivers Association and 36 members of the Bunawan Tricycle Association.

The project aims to provide the beneficiaries with the necessary resources to start their own motor spare parts trading businesses, increasing their income and improving their economic standing.  The project provides the beneficiaries with start-up capital and training in business management, marketing, and customer service.

The Motor Spare Parts Trading project is an excellent example of how targeted support can have a significant impact on local economies.  One of the primary advantages of the project is that it creates a sustainable income source for the beneficiaries, allowing them to become self-sufficient and independent.  Furthermore, the project has a multiplier effect, as the beneficiaries can use their income to support their families and invest in their communities.  By empowering small businesses and providing them with the necessary resources, we can contribute to the growth and development of our communities.
