Access to quality healthcare is crucial for the well-being of any community. In rural areas, however, healthcare resources can be limited, and healthcare workers may lack the necessary equipment to provide adequate care.  This is where the Provision of Medical Equipment project comes in.

Implemented on March 30, 2021, in the barangays of San Teodoro, Bunawan, Agusan del Sur, the project aimed to provide 14 barangay health workers with the necessary medical equipment to improve their services.

With a project cost of Php 25,000.00, the initiative provided the beneficiaries with a range of equipment, including blood pressure monitors, pulse oximeters, and thermometers. These essential tools have helped to improve the accuracy of health assessments and the quality of care provided by health workers.  The impact of the project has been significant, with the health workers now better equipped to diagnose and treat illnesses.  This, in turn, has led to improved health outcomes for the community, especially during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

The Provision of Medical Equipment project is a testament to the power of targeted investments in rural communities.  By providing essential equipment and support, the project has helped to strengthen the local healthcare system and improve the overall well-being of the people in San Teodoro, Bunawan, Agusan del Sur.
