65 Aspiring contestants submitted their applications to Philsaga Mining Corporation through the Safety and Health Department- Compliance and Emergency Management. Philsaga Mining Hospital Launched the PMC's The Biggest Loser 2025 at the PMC Mines Covered Court last January 28, 2025.

With its objectives, the SHD-CEM makes sure that the Annual Safety and Health Program is followed, emphasizes the value of safety and health in operations and all areas of the workplace, particularly encouraging a healthy lifestyle, ensures the well-being of all employees by putting wellness activities into place and adheres to continuous improvement in safety implementations.

PMH Head Doctor Dr. Randolph O. Lala, PMC Nutritionist Ms. Miecy Ann Grace Lobo, and CEM Section Head Engr gave orientations on health conditions and recommendations—Renan N. Bronio, who stressed the value of employees' physical fitness and wellness. Following the pre-weighing and orientation, 30 candidates were eligible to demonstrate their ability to make a significant impact and to continue the Competition to become the New Biggest Loser of 2025. 

PMH advised qualified employees to engage in healthy and safe activities to reduce their weight.  "I will say that 1-2 pounds is enough and a good start of loosing every month. Drastic change of weight is bad and not advisable in your weight loss journey". Stressed by Dr. Lala. 

The SHD-CEM Engr. Bronio Thanked all the departments for their warm support and acceptance of the challenge of promoting wellness in the company."Kani dako ang kahimoan para ma maintain nato ang ka himsog ug maayong panarbahoan diri sa Philsaga." He added during his message.

The Competition will have a series of eliminations every month. The employee with the least weight loss or no changes will be eliminated from the Competition. This will run from this month to November to be awarded this Pasidungog 2025.
