BUNAWAN, AGUSAN DEL SUR- Philsaga Mining Corporation, through its Social and Development and Management Program (SDMP), successfully turned over a check worth Php 150,000.00 to the Barangay Local Government Unit of Nueva Era in support of the Medical Mission in barangay Nueva Era, Bunawan, Agusan del Sur on June 11, 2024. The activity offered various free health services, including medical check-ups, operation tuli (circumcision), eye check-ups with reading glasses distribution, and bloodletting. This significant initiative was conducted in partnership with the Municipal Health Office of Bunawan, represented by Dr. Kathleen Mae Flores, the Philippine Red Cross, the Barangay Local Government Unit of Nueva Era spearheaded by the Punong Barangay, Hon. Joel T. Largo, and the Philsaga Mining Corporation represented by the TLCR Manager For. Gladess Dianne S. Buot. A total of 181 households benefitted from the said activity.

The mission aimed to address the pressing health needs of the community, providing residents with access to essential medical care and promoting overall well-being. The collaboration between these organizations underscores a solid commitment to community health and development. Residents expressed their gratitude for the accessible healthcare services, which play a crucial role in improving public health standards in the area.
