BAYUGAN CITY, AGUSAN DEL SUR – The Fire Square Roadshow, held at Bayugan City, was part of Fire Prevention Month and aimed to enhance fire safety awareness while encouraging collaboration among public safety sectors.

A key focus of the event was educating elementary students about fire prevention to foster early awareness and preparedness. DENR Caraga OIC Regional Executive Director Forester Maritess M. Ocampo emphasized the importance of environmental management in fire safety. PMC Safety Manager Engr. Clement M. Chiu advocated for corporate responsibility in promoting public safety. BFP leaders, including ARD for Operations-BFP Caraga FSSUPT Peter Sean Anthony T. Atup and Regional Director-BFP Caraga FCSUPT Rodolfo P. Denaga, outlined effective fire prevention strategies. Deputy Chief for Operations-BFP NHQ FCSUPT Wilberto Rico Neil A. Kwan Tiu was commended for initiating the event to educate and collaborate with other sectors.

Towards the end of the event, the tree planting highlighted the urgency of proactive fire prevention, urging all sectors to unite to build a safer, more fire-resilient community.
