BUNAWAN, AGUSAN DEL SUR-On March 28, 2025, Philsaga Mining Corporation celebrated Fire Prevention Month at the PMC Mine Covered Court, themed “Sa Pag-iwas sa Sunog, Hindi ka Nag-iisa.” Organized by the Safety and Health Department, with key figures including For. Gladess Dianne Buot-TLCR Manager, Safety and Health Manager Engr. Clement Chiu, Vice President for Operations Lorenz Emmanuel Almazar, and Resident Manager Engr. Alvin Castaños, the event featured competitions like Fire Extinguisher, Bucket Relay, and Fire Hydrant with Targets.

The Mine Electrical Department won the Fire Extinguisher competition for males, while the Mine Explosives Department took the top spot for females. Philsaga Mine Hospital excelled in the Fire Hydrant competition, and the Consuelo Mine Security Enforcement Department triumphed in Bucket Relay. The Miss PMC Fire Safety 2025 contest celebrated women, with the Human Resource Department securing the title. Ultimately, Philsaga Mining Hospital emerged as the overall champion among 14 participating teams.
