Break Ground on 4-Hectare Calamansi Farm Project

PMC-MMPRC Foundation Inc. and Sinug-ang Peoples Organization (SPO) are proud to announce the groundbreaking ceremony for their joint project, a 4-hectare calamansi farm aimed at uplifting the lives of low-income households in Sinug-ang. The project, valued at 1.6M pesos and funded under PMC's Corporate Social Responsibility, will benefit 45 families of the SPO and generate significant economic activity in the community.

The 4-hectare calamansi farm is estimated to yield high-quality products sold in local markets, generating a sustainable source of income for the beneficiaries. The project also aims to create jobs and encourage entrepreneurship, leading to increased economic activity and growth in the community.

The groundbreaking ceremony, held on March 28, 2023, marks an exciting new chapter for organizations and the local community. The key stakeholders, government officials, and community members showed their support through their presence at the said event.

"We are thrilled to break ground on this project, which we believe will positively impact the community," said PMC President Atty. Raul C. Villanueva. "By working with SPO, we hope to provide sustainable livelihood opportunities to households in need and contribute more to the community's economic growth."
